Located in Delhi University’s North Campus, with an additional building in the South Campus, Law Faculty of Delhi University is among the largest law schools in the world with around 1000 lawyers graduating out every year.
Founded in 1924 with the then vice-chancellor of the university, Dr. Hari Singh Gaur, as its first dean, the Faculty offers under-graduate, post-graduate and research courses. The Faculty counts many eminent personalities among its alumni including a former Chief Justice of India, Y. K. Sabharwal, judges, senior advocates, cabinet ministers and social activists.
